The 2020 in 2023 AgroEnviron Symposium

will be held concurrently with the ASABE Soil Erosion Research under a Changing Climate international symposium.

The history of agriculture is the story of humankind's development and cultivation of processes for producing food, feed, fiber, fuel, and other goods. The challenge has always been: How to satisfy the needs of an increasing popula- tion while preserving the environment? As a contribution to this question, the 1st International Symposium on Agri- culture and the Environment (AGROENVIRON) was initiated at the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan in 1998. Since then, it had been successfully held in Turkey, Egypt, Italy, Mexico (2010), Netherlands (2012), Brazil (2014), the USA (2016), and China (2018). AGROENVIRON has earned the recognition of being the foremost symposi- um dedicated to discussing the current environmental concerns especially in the context of agricultural activities. The XII AgroEnviron 2023 will be held in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, USA, on January 8-13, 2023, offering you the possibility of sharing your research, knowledge and ideas about current issues on environment and agriculture under the theme “Innovation and Technology in Agro-Environmental Systems for Food Security and Health in a Changing World”. The meeting will be held concurrently with the decennial American Society of Agricultural & Biological Engineers (ASABE) “Soil Erosion Research under a Changing Climate” international symposium. Participants will have full cross -over privileges. Come to Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, and have the great experience of participating in this academic event and enjoy, in addition, the Caribbean, its beautiful beaches and rich culture and of course the hospitality of its people. The program will include oral and poster sessions, and a full-day field tour of erosion and water quality sites in western Puerto Rico.
